Mimi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mimi's Story...
8 year old Mimi had some health issues with muscle tone in her hind quarters, one of our vets, Dr. Jodi Arndt (Chanhassen Veterinary Clinic), said she could help her to recover using laser treatments (acupuncture without the needles). Mimi is done with her treatments and most likely will not need anymore. She does need to be on Rimadyl. She is able to run, jump, play, and jumps on the couch. Mimi is crate trained (Mimi will run to her kennel when asked - especially for the treats) and house trained. She barks when she wants to go outside. However, when she barks, you need to let her out right away as she is not able to hold it for long once she needs to go. She follows you around everywhere and wants to snuggle and be loved. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She gets along with kids, and was great at the office with all the clients at Chanhassen Vet Clinic! Thank you Dr. Arndt for nursing Mimi back to health!

Adoption fee: Mimi is fully vet'ed , the rescue is asking for a small donation to cover expenses for her adoption fee. $50 recommended adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimi, a Hinckley Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Hinckley, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Hinckley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hinckley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hinckley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hinckley paves the way for another one to be saved.
