Lacy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Lacy's Story...
Lacy is a sweet and affectionate 3 year old beagle/jack russell mix. She is scared to death of other dogs. We are working with her on this. She is very much a lap dog and would benefit a home where there are no other animals. Because Lacy tends to snap at other dogs we think it might be wise for her to go to a home with no small children as well. She is totally a sweet dog though and very laid back. She cried a lot when she first came into foster and when we leave her in the care of somone she is not familiar with she cries for a while. She's just an insecure baby and needs someone to show her lots of love.
Lacy has been spayed, wormed, micro chipped, heartworm tested negative, current on all vaccines and is on heartworm, flea and tick preventative. Her $100.00 adoption fee includes micro chip registration to her new owner, 30 day Shelter Care Insurance Policy, new collar and leash. Please call for more information. (270)536-3077

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacy, a Irvington Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in Irvington, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Irvington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvington paves the way for another one to be saved.
