Audrey's Story...
Notes: Audrey - female - young (1-2 years of age) - Lab mix - 50 pounds - brown and golden coat with moderate breeching

Sunny, warm and gentle, Audrey lacks only one thing - a home and a chance to prove herself. She is a lovely, outgoing, and beautiful dog - the classic West Virginia brown dog, and a true mutt. The gentle and indulgent mother of the puppies we named "The Detectives" (Tuppence, Precious, McGruff and Fletcher), Audrey and her brood were rescued by a rural Good Samaritan, and Audrey has been patient and hopeful as she waits for a chance to prove herself in an adoptive home that recognizes her goodness.

Audrey has a golden brown coat, beautiful soft brown eyes lined all around with black, and funny sworls and breeching on her legs, which are slender and refined. She has a chubby muzzle and round handlebar ears. Our vet has agreed with our breed description of Lab mix, cheerfully noting that the mix surely includes 30 additional breeds. Audrey will be a joy to train; already, her behaviors are what we call "naturally appropriate" - she is clean, responsive, and seeks ardently to bond and to please. A true one of a kind, not only in her breeding, but in her depth and caring, Audrey will bring immense love to her adopter(s).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Audrey, a Rockville Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
