Bacchus - courtesy post's Story...
About 3 years ago, Lily needed a brother. Lily chose Bacchus from the Ross County Humane Society and they have been the best of friends since. Bacchus is almost 4 years old and is neutered. He is a mix breed, some say with American Pit Bull Terrier too. He is Golden tan with a white belly and white paws. Bacchus has a sad beginning though. He was beaten and malnourished by his previous owner and was left with a few scars as proof- a few on his paws and one on his back. This made Bacchus somewhat skittish around loud noises at first but with Lily’s help and our love, he has made leaps and bounds! He is smaller than Lily weighing in at approx. 40 pounds. Bacchus loves eating ice cubes, drinking from the toilet, playing “chase”, and chew toys! He has also been housebroken for years. He is very gentle, good natured, and likes to sleep under your bed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bacchus - courtesy post, a Cincinnati American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
