Jalepeno in Arkansas's Story...
Jalapeño is a 4-5 year old female jack russell terrier. Prior to her recent rescue, she was a breeder dog, forced to have litter after litter of puppies. Because of this, she's had to learn how to act like a normal pet. She's very loving and appreciates companionship, but can still be skittish at times. She has made great progress with her house training, but still has occasional slip ups, so she needs some additional patience in this area. Other than that, Jalapeño has excellent house manners. She LOVES to play with all of the dog toys, but doesn't mess with shoes or furniture, etc. Jalapeño has never shown any signs of aggression with people or other dogs, but she does chase cats, so a cat free home would be ideal for her. She is spayed and completely up to date on shots.
