Fred's Story...
HELP! I really want to be your FOREVER big buddy!
I've not had an easy life: in my 5 short yearsI was abandoned once, rescued, then lost my rescuer - thankfully I was brought to Miss Kitty's to wait for you to come find me. I am a big boy - some even call me a gentle lion because of my size! I hate brooms, but I love to follow you around, give "love bumps" and talk. I'd really love being a part of YOUR home!

For information on adopting Fred please contact Miss Kitty's Cat House at 928-445-5411 or visit MKCH Fri. or Sat. during adoption hours from 11-3PM. (2/2/11)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fred, a Prescott Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Prescott, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Prescott.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prescott already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prescott breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prescott paves the way for another one to be saved.
