Sofia's Story...
Like my name suggests, I am one sweet, elegant cat about 1 1/2 yrs old. Originally a stray, a wonderful woman fell in love with me, got me spayed and the shots I needed and now I am ready for a nice forever home. I love windows ( best place ever to lounge, don't you think?), being petted and chasing foil balls. Oh, that is so much fun to me! I love being a cat, but I'd love being YOUR cat even more.

You can visit me at Miss Kitty's Cat House 11 AM to 3 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Or you can call Miss Kitty's at 928-445-5411 to arrange an appointment at a different time. (3/1/11)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sofia, a Prescott Norwegian Forest Cat cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Forest Cat for sale in Prescott, or seeking a Norwegian Forest Cat cat from a breeder in Prescott.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prescott already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prescott breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Forest Cat breeders who help with Norwegian Forest Cat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prescott paves the way for another one to be saved.
