Walle's Story...
Walle (also known as Wallyboo) is a beautiful 2-3 year old tortishell. She was originally adopted from our rescue and lived in a home with small kids and cats. She did fantastic but unfortunately the new baby was severely allergic to her. She's a bit heartbroken but is hopeful that her new home will be her FOREVER home. Wallyboo is a calm cat and is over the kitten-craziness. She prefers to keep to herself and only likes to be petted on her schedule (typical tortishell!!). She's been taking regular baths since birth and will allow you to bathe her without scratching. She's wary of new people but will settle in fine with her new people given time. This is a kitty that will lay at the foot of your bed and purr at you when you arrive home from work

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walle, a Chandler Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chandler, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chandler.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chandler already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chandler breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chandler paves the way for another one to be saved.
