Yadi's Story...
Hello, my name is Yadi, I am about 3 years old and am such a handsome friendly man. I was rescued by the nice people at MEHS after being found wandering the streets. I was very scared before they saved me with long lonely days and cold scary nights. Now I am warm and happy and I dont have to worry where my next meal comes from. I love everyone; I have a loud motor boat and am a semi-professional biscuit maker! Altho I really love my friends here at the shelter I am waiting and watching for my forever family, is that you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yadi, a Edwardsville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Edwardsville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Edwardsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edwardsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edwardsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edwardsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
