Angel's Story...
Little Angel was one of five kittens found on a rural road. She is about four months old now and is soooo very sweet. She is very affectionate, gentle, and loving. She lifts her tiny paws in the air and "kneads bread" when you cuddle her in your arms. Angel is small for her age and will probably stay small. She is a beautiful, soft grey, precious baby. Will you give Angel a forever home? Before being listed for adoption, all of our cats have been: Spayed or Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids (if from a litter of kittens, most will be tested), treated for common parasites, Vet checked, and fostered so behaviors can be observed. Our adoption fee is $75 with purebred cats slightly higher.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Germantown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
