Duke's Story...
We have several beautiful, purebred (or almost) hounds arriving in rescue now. All are just weaned. Now in rescue and receiving veterinary care. They will be spayed or neutered and fully immunized in time for our Thanksgiving transport. Already working on crate training and housebreaking. These pups are living in our homes and being socilaized as family dogs. Requested donation for each pup is $225. *** This puppy was born to a purebred Bloodhound Mama. Dad must have been the Foxhound.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Buffalo Foxhound/Bloodhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Bloodhound for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Foxhound/Bloodhound puppy from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Bloodhound breeders who help with Foxhound/Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
