Yodel's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Yodel's Story...
Yodel was getting ready to be gassed at a shelter in a nearby county in SC because people thought he was ugly and would never find a home, he was taken by a staff member who was going to take him to a clinic to be euthanized by injection instead. I heard about him and told them to let me take him. He is the sweetest dog anyone could ever have. Great with children, dogs and cats (was a little timid of cats at first after being smacked a few times. He is very smart and was easy to cratetrain. The only bad habit that I know of is leg lifting, but we are working on that, being neutered will help that problem. His adoption fee is $100 and transport fee is $50. He is 28lbs and about 10 months old. If you are looking for a great family dog, adopt Yodel

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yodel, a Baltimore Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Basenji dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji breeders who help with Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
