Sandy's Story...
Sandy is a spayed female Labrador Pyrenees mix who is beautiful, good natured, friendly and gets along with everyone. She has been through a number of homes because she is an escape artist and will not be contained in a fence. She needs a country home where she can roam acreage. She will return home but she can't conform to city rules that say she must be fenced. She just hasn't been in one place long enough to develop a real bond maybe. This is a beautiful girl who is looking for a family to win her heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a St. James Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in St. James, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in St. James.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. James already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. James breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. James paves the way for another one to be saved.
