History
Maximilian is a gorgeous, neutered purebred German Shorthair Pointer who found himself at the pound one day. Despite having a microchip and several attempts by ACC to contact the owner, sadly nobody came forward to claim him. Luckily one of the workers at the pound really liked him and pulled him of the e-list several times. Yet, once again he was on the euthanize list the following day. When I saw this wonderful boy I promised him that I would to everything I could to help him. Upon his rescue sweet Maximilian thanked us by gently pressing himself against us and giving us the happiest tail wagging. He rode like a champion in the car and was so very happy to be out of the dreadful pound. Maximilian has a magnificent personality and will be a wonderful dog for a loving family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxmillan ADOPTED, a Scottsdale Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
