ADOPTION PENDING!
ELVIS will be at the Petsmart in the Ward Parkway Shopping Center, this Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00 P.M. if you want to meet this sweet little gentleman! For more information, please contact Norma at 816-797-2877 or at nspear@kc.rr.com.
Elvis is a handsome, smaller (at 32 lbs) black and white neutered Beagle mix. He's approximately one year old but seems very quiet and calm for his breed and age although this could be because his foster home is so new to him. Elvis thinks that laps and chairs are made for one purpose: him. Although he isn’t jumpy, Elvis is not shy about gently placing his front paws on you for attention. He is very inquisitive, however, seems to prefer to leave cats alone when confronted with one in the house. He does whine when he is anxious. Elvis likes to go on walks although not leash trained so he zigs and zags. He rides well in the car. So far, does not bark at the door bell or strangers, but since Elvis has just transitioned from previous home to shelter to foster home in a short amount of time, he may feel like he is just a guest. Elvis likes other mild-mannered dogs but seems to prefer people for company. House trained, which is good because he hates crates and will try to work his way out of them.
