Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sandy is an energetic, playful, adorable, well-trained, friendly and sweet, one-year-old, 55-pound, tall and lean, female, brindle and white Boxer/Greyhound looking for a loving home. Sandy landed at Chicago Animal Care and Control through no fault of her own. This nice girl was one of the lucky ones to get out of a cage and into a wonderful foster home where she can get a taste of the good life.
Sandy is housebroken, crate-trained, knows the commands sit, down, paw, other paw … And when you make a smooching sound, she’ll come over and give you a kiss!
After four months of training and nurturing in her foster home, Sandy is ready for a permanent home. She is a high-energy girl, so she’s looking for a home without cats and with children old enough to play with them. She has gone to doggie daycare, and she did well with the other dogs who were easy-going and playful. She does not have a mean bone in her tall lanky body.
Sandy is very food-motivated, so she’s looking for a dog-lover with the time and energy to continue her training and give her exercise. After she’s had enough exercise, she’s happy to hang out to be pet, groomed, and chew on her toys and bones. Sandy is healthy, spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines, de-wormed, and heartworm-tested. Her adoption fee of $95 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control.
