Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a handsome, friendly, playful, sweet and lovable, one-year-old, chocolate and vanilla, male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a loving home. Rocky is housebroken, crate-trained, and loves other dogs. He also loves people and gives kisses and tail wags to everyone he meets. This poor boy was left on the side of the road with a bag of dog food. Rocky waited at that spot … just waiting for his “master” to return. He is incredibly loyal. But whoever that person was that left an imprint of his 13 1/2 size shoe in the snow certainly didn’t deserve Rocky’s love and loyalty. Rocky is healthy, de-wormed, neutered, heartworm-tested, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption fee of $200 (or $300 if you adopt two dogs). You must be at least 25 years old, and live in the state of Illinois to adopt from this rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Rocky, please fill out an adoption application at http://www.angel4causerescue.com/Volunteer.html
You can follow up on your application by e-mailing Pat at phangel3@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Chicago American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
