Fargo's Story...
Fargo is one of those gorgeous dogs that turn heads as he saunters by. He has a beautiful coat of long grey, tan, and white fur—it just makes you want to squeeze him with a great big hug. But Fargo can be a bit fussy (that seems to be the Chow in him)—sometimes he’s in the mood for affection, and sometimes he’s not. Consequently, a home where there are no children is a necessity. Fargo seems to get along well with other dogs, so a home where there are other dogs may be fine. If you want a stunning mixed-breed who can be a bit temperamental (when he wants to be), but as sweet as can be (again, when he wants to be) too, Fargo may be the canine companion for you.

Act quickly to adopt Fargo. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fargo, a Berkeley Keeshond dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Keeshond for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Keeshond dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Keeshond breeders who help with Keeshond rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
