My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joseline is a smallish, (38lbs) very gentle, sweet and mellow Shepherd mix dog who came into the city shelter as a "stray." But, it is obvious that Joseline must have been in a home for a long time. Initially, very depressed and scared in the shelter, Joseline seemed to be grieving the loss of her people and home. She ended up on the Euthanasia list. Fortunately, for Josh, both the Dog Behaviorist at the shelter and one of the other staffers saw something special in Joseline and pulled her off the list. She now needs to find a loving foster or adoptive home AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so she doesn't end up back on the death list. If you can foster or adopt lovely Joseline, please call us IMMEDIATELY! (212) 427-8273. She would be an ideal dog for a quiet home, city apartment or working home. Joseline seems to LOVE other dogs and responds very happily and positively to them.
