Mr. Josie's Story...
"HI, my name is Mr. Josie. I was found on Jupiter Island a few years ago and have been living at Caring Fields Sanctuary ever since thanks to Hobe Sound Animal Protection League. My best friend is Striker and she and I want to find a home together. I know what you are thinking...I only have room for one kitty but seriously we don't take up that much extra space...we love each other and we will LOVE you. We haven't been around small children and I think we'd hide if little ones were running around trying to pull on our tails. We'd like a nice, quiet house with someone to brush us and give us lots of loving. Hope we can meet you soon!"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Josie, a Palm City Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Palm City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Palm City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm City paves the way for another one to be saved.
