Max is in Martinsburg, WV - 1/2 hr from Hagerstown, MD or Winchester, VA. Max is a neutered male American Eskimo, weighing approx 23 lbs. He is between 4 - 5 yrs old. When Max is happy :) he will tend to get a little hyper, but will calm down quickly. He also tends to pull at your shoe or pants leg when he gets very excited, as if to say, hey, look at me!! When asked to, Max will shake hands and beg. He hates being crated and doesn't enjoy the company of cats. Max is an indoor dog ONLY, as he will become very upset if left outside alone - however, has no problem if people are outside with him. He also likes to ride on your lap while in the car. Max gets along well with most dogs, but needs to be the only male dog in the house. He loves his Nutro Lite Dry Dog Food, and anything from the table, if you give it to him. He will do better with older children, as the small ones get him too excited. Max is looking for a home with a retired single or couple, work or stay at home person. A fenced yard is preferred, as Max likes to try to escape and then wants to come back inside asap. Max is friendly and affectionate. He loves being a lap dog and will cuddle and snuggle in bed with you at night. His Adoption Fee is $200.00 and he will be current on shots, wormed and professionally groomed.
