Rexington's Story...

My name is Rexington-Rex for short. I am a 9 month old lab mix. I am on the smaller side for a lab aprox 50 pounds.
I am looking for a new home. My past family were gone all day leaving me in a crate with no one to play with me allllll day! After work my family would go out to all kinds of activites and leave me at home again. I started to gain a bit of weight and was really lonely.
So they thought it best I go to a new family who has more time to spend with me.

I am a ball of energy and love to play and have lots of fun with my people. I need to have at least one good walk or run every day.

I'm still a puppy and get boared easliy, when I do I know I shouldn't but I have to admit when I have nothing to do the occassional slipper has been too tempting to ignore!

My foster family figured out the more toys and rawhide chews they give me the happier I am.

I would be best suited to a family with lots going on. I love to go to soccer games, hiking, to the beach, camping or just out to the park for the afternoon. If your going to a dog friendly place I'm happy to come along. I am excellent in the car. I just lay down and wait till we get to our fun destination!
A family with lots of kids over the age of 5 with friends coming and going all the time would be great for me. I would then have constant stimulation and attention on me.
I am crate and house trained and up to date with my vetting.

If you think I am the fit for your family please send in a bio with the style of home you have, what kind of yard you have, number of hours you work, number of family members and what activites would we be doing together.

Woof-ruff ( Thank-you)

I hope to meet you soon

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rexington, a London Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in London, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in London.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in London already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a London breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in London paves the way for another one to be saved.
