Sophie ~Adoption Pending~'s Story...
Hi!

I am 11 weeks old, and I will be 11-15 lbs when I am full grown. I love sleeping in human laps, or doggy pig piles. I am the sweetest of my littermates.

My brothers and sister and I are from a shelter where we were dumped we were just little babies, but we have been in a foster home for a while now, so we don't really remember the shelter. We are puppies with puppy personalities. (We love everyone, and we especially love to play)

Since I am still a baby, I am not housebroken, so I need a family with the time, patience and experience to help me along with my housebreaking. I need a home where I am not left at home all day, and I would love to have another puppy or dog to play with so I don't develop separation anxiety!

If you are interested in adopting me, please email our foster mom with some information about you, and the type of home you can give me. My foster mom will send you an adoption application.

My adoption fee is $400.00 which goes toward my vetting and transport fees.

I am local. Come see me this weekend in Brookline!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie ~Adoption Pending~, a Brookline Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Brookline, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Brookline.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookline already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookline breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookline paves the way for another one to be saved.
