Misty's Story...
Misty is an adorable, active, snugly, energetic, friendly, playful and fun, eight-month-old, 40-pound, blue and white female pit bull puppy looking for a loving home. Misty is tail-waggingly friendly and living in a foster home with other dogs and children. She loves everyone – especially children and is living with three kids - aged three, seven and nine. She is crate-trained, and doing well with her housebreaking – she sits at the door when she needs to go out. Misty knows the command sit and takes treats gently from your fingers. Misty is healthy, de-wormed, spayed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Chicago American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
