Bernie is an 8 week old male hound mix that was abandoned with his siblings and mom when his owner was evicted. Bernie is now ready for a new permanent home, as are his mom and siblings! Bernie is current on his puppy vaccinations and deworming. He will be neutered prior to transport to his new home. If you are interested in any of his siblings they are Billy (M), Dora (F), Lucy (F), Martha (F), and Trace (M). Bernie's mom is a medium sized black and tan lab/hound mix who is very sweet. Her name is Lacey and she will be available in a few weeks. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bernie, a Spring Valley Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
