Kylie's Story...
This poor dog was dumped at the shelter on the brink of starvation. She is barely 30 lbs, but will probably be about 50lbs once she regains her weight. Even though we usually foster small breed dogs, we just couldn't leave her behind at the shelter!

This poor girl has probably never known kindness in her short life (the vet thinks she is just two years old). Yet, she is sweet and gentle natured. Kylie deserves a second chance at having a warm, loving forever home (and a large, large bowl of food).

Kylie won't be ready for delivery for a few weeks. We need to vet her, fatten her up, see if she's house-broken, and temperament test her. But soon enough she'll be ready to meet her new family!

We are taking adoption applications for Kylie now, though, so we have a potential home for her when she is ready. Won't you give her the love she needs? As always, an adoption application will not obligate you to adopt her, and there is no application fee. But, an early approved application does give you the option to adopt!

We don't know if she is good with kids, cats or other dogs, and we don't know if she is house-broken. But, we'll keep you updated as we find out more about her personality!

If you are interested in adopting Kylie, please e-mail us for an adoption application. Kylie's adoption fee will be $350.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kylie, a Brookline Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Brookline, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Brookline.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookline already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookline breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookline paves the way for another one to be saved.
