Bitsy's Story...
Hi there! I'm Bitsy, a very sweet petite solid black shorthaired young adult girl who came to Town Cats from Los Banos shelter when they ran out of room. I'm real quiet and gentle, I love other cats but might be afraid of smaller noisy children unless they are cat-savvy. Older mature teens and adults are my preference. I do like to be picked up and carried around by people I know, and purr a lot. I'm bonded with Petra and would love to be adopted with her too! In fact I love other cats and would love to go to a home with other pets, especially cats, if Petra can't come with me. I'm well mannered and have been inside all my life so would like to come home with you and continue as your loving pet for many many years! Do you know, black kitties are the hardest to adopt out, for some reason... please don't overlook me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bitsy, a Morgan Hill Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morgan Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morgan Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgan Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgan Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgan Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
