Marcilene's Story...
Marcilene is an adorable, active, snugly, friendly, playful and fun, 16-week-old, 23-pound, fawn and white, female Boxer/American Bulldog puppy looking for a loving home. Marcilene has huge paws and will probably grow to be a 70-pound adult. She is living in a foster home with other dogs, cats, rabbits and children. She loves everyone! She is crate-trained, working on her housebreaking, and learning to sit on command. Marcilene is healthy, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. She is scheduled to be spayed in April. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Marcilene, please fill out an adoption application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marcilene, a Chicago Boxer/American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
