Guiness's Story...
Guiness is not being sheltered at The Pet Connection. PLEASE CALL 913.963.4656 for more information on this dog. This sweetheart's owner didn't have enough time for him anymore, hence how he landed at the city pound. He's way too good of a dog to be homeless..... And too cute too! Short legged, he has a comical appearance that adds to his charm. We think this medium size, short hair happy-go-lucky guy has a lot of potential as family companion. The Pet Connection is generous enough to allow us to post these dogs on their websites. Guiness is currently located at a local KC municipal shelter that unfortunately has to euthanize dogs due to the high intake and lack of adoptable homes. Please consider adopting this deserving dog and giving them a chance at a loving home and a long life. Please do not contact The Pet Connection, instead contact 913.963.4656 to learn more about this great dog! WE ANSWER CALLS IMMEDIATELY OR RETURN CALLS WITHIN 2 HOURS.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guiness, a Olathe Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Olathe, or seeking a Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Olathe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olathe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olathe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olathe paves the way for another one to be saved.
