Macy--PETSMART's Story...
UPDATE--You can now meet Macy in person at the Muncie PetSmart! Macy is an absolutely beautiful kitty. Her approximate date of birth is in May 2010. She was found in the local WalMart parking lot with a large bite wound abscess on her tail. It is healing wonderfully and with the hair grown back in, you will never know it was there! Her awesome charcoal grey and blue tabby striping is so striking. Not only is she gorgeous, but she is also sweet, loving, and playful. She loves to give kisses and will play with any toy she sees! She is a very talkative girl and wants to make sure you know she is there! She was afraid of other cats at first, but after a few days passed and she realized that they were not all waiting to pounce on her and attack, she warmed right up. She is playing and chasing with all of them now...even getting/giving a little loving on occasion, too! She does well with children and would adjust to a cat friendly dog as well! This little Macy Gray (after the R & B singer) is ready for her new "forever" home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macy--PETSMART, a Muncie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muncie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muncie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muncie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muncie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muncie paves the way for another one to be saved.
