Rusty's Story...
This is Rusty. Poor Rusty was found as a stray and we are so sure he will make someone a great, loving addition to their family. He's young, probably no more than a year or two. Rusty is **extremely** friendly with everyone he meets. He is such a people person we can't believe it LOL. He just adores us and loves attention and to play. We are looking for someone who will shower him with love, exercise and attention. He's the perfect size - he isn't very big, but he has the biggest heart =) If you would like some more info, please email Sandy at bobbicares2@aol.com or. For immediate consideration, please download our application from www.bobbicares.petfinder.org and email it to bobbicares2@aol.com. Thank you so much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Freeport Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
