http://www.valleydogs.org/holly-goldenmix.html -- Holly’s story is very special. Located in an Animal Shelter back in Dec. 2010 by one of our Foster Mom’s. Holly was very shy, so her Foster Mom knew she had a challenge on her hands and it was one she was willing to take to SAVE this Special girl.
Holly was born in the desert, along with her siblings. They lived under a home that sat empty for over a year. Animal Control capture all the pups except Holly. Mom is still living there being taken care of by the renter now. Holly was eventually coaxed into the loving hands of humans. But, this is where her story begins.
Holly hid in the back of the kennel at Animal Control even tried climbing the back wall when the Foster Mom entered. The foster Mom knew to take her time with Holly, so she set up a plan with Animal Control to come and visit every day and work with Holly. Holly was so SHY, she had to learn what human touch was, how to walk on a leash, how to give kisses and accept humans.

Holly has been in her Foster Parents home for 4 months and is now a Happy Go Lucky little girl, she LOVES People, still a bit shy when she 1st meets you, but warms up quickly. She is head over hills in love with ALL dogs. She has learned so many things in this time like, giving kisses, allows belly rubs, walks, playing with kids and dogs, and that Humans are ok to love and give love.
