Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Elvira is a young female bloodhound. She is very active, good with people, other dogs (of all sizes), cats and pretty much everything else you expose her to. She learns quickly, especially when around other dogs. She would probably do best with another companion dog around her size. Her best pal is a male American Bulldog who weighs 70lbs. She is very nose driven, and can be a challenge in an urban home environment. But if you are organized, patient and up for the challenge of raising an active bloodhound then Elvira will be right for you. She is crate trained and will regularly sleep in her crate if the door is left open. She can become restless if not given enough exercise. Her companion dogs really help to tire her out. She is persistent, curious, affectionate and at times demanding. But she is a sweet and fun girl, and will make some lucky family a great companion! She’s being fostered in Gainesville, FL.
