My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jethro-2 is a 14 month old purebred bloodhound who came from an elderly couple who had to release him to rescue. He just loves to use that big ole nose of his and it kept getting him into trouble. Jethro would catch an enticing scent and felt he should do what his breed has always done, and that is "FIND IT". He is excellent indoors or out, but he has to be contained with a good fence when he is outside, because of his powerful nose. Jethro is HW negative and on preventative. He plays a little too rough with a small dog and his status with cats is not known. Jethro loves toys and is very focused on them. He is definitely a candidate for Search and Rescue, because he has the working dog's attitude and the nose to back it up. He’s also a wonderful family pet who would love a family of his own! He’s being fostered in Alabama.
