Dottie's Story...
Made you look, Made you look.... Yes I know you can't believe I am a Blue Heeler and Basset. It's hard for me to believe but, my dad was persistant.I am as cute as I sound. I love to play with my friends in the yard. Do you have a yard for me? I don't know if I have ever lived in a house, you would think so! I had a litter of puppies, but did not have them when I was picked up by Animal control. I can't have any more puppies... that's good. If you can take care of me and love me , call (870) 688-4723.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Harrison Australian Cattle Dog/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Basset Hound for sale in Harrison, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Harrison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Basset Hound breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrison paves the way for another one to be saved.
