My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Posted May 4th...Meet Miley, a very sweet, energetic pup with the most amusing personality. Miley is about 3 1/2 monts old and about 15 pounds. Miley is a very small 15 pounds...she is a peanut with her slender body and long legs. She is very active and agile. She is, much smaller then she appears in the picture. The staff at Central Bark are fairly certain that with her apperance and mannerisms it is highly likely she is a Whippet mix. This is a link to a picture of a Whippet...do you see a resemblence? http://www.facebook.com/l/a78e0/www.blogcdn.com/www.pawnation.com/media/2010/04/whippet7re465r78t7iugyu.jpg

Whatever her mix, her forever family should be an active family. If you enjoy joggin or walking and are looking a companion to enjoy the outdoors with, Miley is your match. Miley came from a high kill shelter in Southern Illinois and is ready to find her forever family. Please note that breed and age at maturity are our best guess.

Miley is currently being fostered at Central Bark Doggy Daycare in Oswego as we felt she needed some extra stimulation, training and additional play time. You can go to their facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Central-Bark-Oswego/80431629674 to watch the daily videos of Miley and the other dogs.

Please do not call Central Bark, email or stop by to them for information or stop by to visit with Miley, they will refer you right back to the rescue. You must have an application submitted and an approved prior to scheduling an appointment to meet her.

The adoption fee of $250.00, includes her spaying (done when age appropriate, but paid for by Angels On Wheels), microchip, she has already received her 1st, 2nd and 3rd puppy vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination and her booster, dewormed with Panacur and droncit, fecal tested negative, treated with revolution for the prevention of fleas, mites and heartworm, vet checked, along with a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital or Wheaton Animal Hospital.

The adoption also comes with a free puppy class through Fly Dogs located at Central Bark Doggie Daycare in Oswego, which introduces you to housebreaking, name recognition, crate training, sit/stay and leash walking.

If you would like to meet this very cute puppy, please go to the angelsonwheelsanimalrescue.com website to download an adoption application. Please be sure your application is complete.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals and wanting to give them a wonderful home.
