Krista's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Krista's Story...
Krista was turned in by her owner, along with her daughter, Tinley. The lady said that her son had allergies to the dogs and despite all efforts (meds, no carpeting, frequent baths for the dogs), their presence was causing health issues for the boy. Both were poorly socialized but Tinley and Krista came around quickly. Ok, so back to Krista. She is an exceptionally pretty tricolor chihuahua. Her markings are sharp and symmetrical. Her eyes are huge and gorgeous. These pictures were taken at an adoption event near the end of the day. They aren't great. Krista doesn't let other dogs push her around and she is wonderful with people. Krista is said to be house trained and weighs just about 9 1/2 pounds. She was born on February 15, 2007 so just turned 4 years old. Krista gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and is a pleasure to be around.

Krista is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventive, microchipped and house trained. Her adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Krista, a House Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
