Hilda's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Hilda's Story...
Hilda is a remarkable, sweet young girl that has been through the cell program and is now looking for someone to appreciate her sense of humour and her good looks. She is a friendly, well behaved dog that will make a welcome addition to any family. She is a medium-large sized dog, approximate 1 - 2 years old.

Hilda as you can see from her gi-normous smile, is a sweetheart and a complete ham. She loves people, and is fine with other dogs. We have not tested her with cats yet but believe she would be fine with them as well. She is definitely a lover who enjoys attention from anyone. She would do well in a home with a backyard to play in and would like to be considered as part of the family.

Hilda is an intelligent dog and easy to train. She knows her basic commands but would benefit from continuing her education to become a truly wonderful companion. She is house and crate trained and just an overall great family pet. More pictures and info to come.

If you have questions or would like to be considered for adoption of Hilda, please go to our website at and submit an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hilda, a Hamilton Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
