My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yes, Helen is from New Orleans. She is very sweet and really affectionate but not overly hyperactive. I rode with this young lady doggie for four days on our trip up to New York and she was a model to the other dogs. Helen acted like she knew she was being saved from being euthanized. She was found in Plaquamines Parish, LA, where hurricane Katrina actually made landfall. With no adoptions the local dog pound was going to kill Helen by gas the next day. Fortunately our truck arrived the day before and Helen was one of 43 animals saved that day. Now she needs the final step ...a lifetime family.
