I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Deedee's Story...
Deedee is another of our 6 week old babies looking for a family to love her. She looks very different than her sisters and is mostly black with a touch of white but seems to have more of a border collie coat. Deedee is an affectionate and playful pup and would make an excellent family pet. We expect she will mature to be between 40 - 60 lbs. Her mother was a sweet lab mix that weighed approximately 40 lbs and her father was unknown. All of these pups have unfortunately had their tails docked.

Deedee will have her first set of vaccinations, be dewormed and have a complete heath check prior to adoption. If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for Deedee please send in your application as soon as possible as she won't be long in foster care.

Pictures of Deedee will be posted soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deedee, a Hamilton Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
