Henry's Story...

Henry is a 4 month old border collie mix. His foster mother thinks he is mixed with collie due to his coloring. He has a beautiful sable and white rough coat.

Henry has been neutered and is current on all vaccinations. He is working on his house training and some basic obedience. He has a very sweet nature and gets along well with all his other foster brothers and sisters. He loves to go on walks and wade in the pond, but hasn't started swimming yet.

Henry will make a wonderful addition to any home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Oliver Springs Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Oliver Springs, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Oliver Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oliver Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oliver Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oliver Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
