Howie's Story...
Hi! My name is Howie! I came in with Hoshi and am a Peke mix (approx. 8 years). I am very loving and follow my foster mom around all the time. As long as I am by a person I am happy. Hoshi and I have been together our entire lives and I take care of him. Please consider me for adoption as I have plenty of love to give you!

*Howie is up-to-date with all his shots, neutered, HW negative, and has had dental work done. Good with other dogs and cats. Is housebroken, can use a dog door, and is good on a leash. Adoption fee $50. Would be ideal if Hoshi and Howie were adopted together but not necessary.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie, a Oklahoma City Pekingese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Pekingese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pekingese/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
