Topaz's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Topaz's Story...
Topaz is our latest addition. This incredible girl loves humans, wants to sit on my lap, and loves to lean against me, and everyone she meets. She is like this even though she had been badly hurt by someone who fractured her sternum. She is several pounds underweight. She is currently being treated by our vet, and is beginning to put on weight. The swelling around her chest is going down. She is spayed now and ready for her new life. Topaz loves other dogs and cats. Topaz is one of the gentlest souls you'll ever meet. She would love a forever family who will treat her with all the love and gentleness that she has to offer. Please contact Dee if you'd like to consider adopting her into your home and your heart at: BRITDOG15@AOL.COM

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Topaz, a Charlottesville Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Charlottesville, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Charlottesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlottesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlottesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlottesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
