Gizmo's Story...
Good looks, Brains, and a hunky-healthy-buff body? Oh yeah, Look out ladies! Here comes Gizmo! That’s right, I got it all! Well, I got it all except the big bucks, convertible, and penthouse…In fact, I don’t have a home at all...but I’m not lookin’ for a handout, I promise to work hard at becoming the best companion you could ask for. Like I said I have the brains and the heart, I just need a soft bed and a warm hearted person to play with me and love me and give me a place to call my forever home. I’m housebroken already, friendly and affectionate with people and children of all sizes, but I am not so great with cats or other smaller animals. I repeat, I do not like cats! That’s no big deal though, right? I mean with everything else I have to offer, who could say no?!

2 years old- 65lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, new leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizmo, a Portland Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
