Lilly's Story...
Lilly was found in someone's yard in the I-45 and Airline area where so many of our unwanted dogs and puppies come from. She's a beautiful pup...her mom is a beautiful Golden (we have pics of her) Mom will be spayed so no more pups from her. She is a sweet puppy and will make a great dog for some lucky family. You can see her at PetSmart at Shepherda and Alabama on Sat and Sun between 11-5 or call 281-753-0136 or an appt. Woof, woof!!! She has one sister and 2 brothers available!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Houston Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
