Milo's Story...
Milo was rescued as a kitten from a colony in Van Nuys behind an apartment building. He is very loving and affectionate. Very inquisitive and will follow you around the house and is a lap cat. We really should have named him Dennis the Menace, because he is always up to something. He is a loving, affectionate cat and loves attention. He should be with at least one other cat.

About Our Rescue Group...
Save A Kitty is a 501(c)(3) no-kill cat rescue. We rescue from the streets, or bail from city shelters. We are active in trap/neuter/return and are trying to do our best to help reduce the number of unwanted births. We have a network of foster volunteers who care for our babies in a home environment. Our kitties are loved and cared for and will remain in our care until they find their forever homes, and if that is with us. so be it. We do what we do because we feel that all life is equal, a kitten with no home deserves to be loved and nurtured no less than any other being.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are at Whole Foods in Sherman Oaks on Riverside Drive on the 3rd Sunday of the month from noon to four thirty. We do adoptions at other locations. Check our web site for dates.
Our Adoption Process...
We have a 2 page application. We do a home check and have an option if we adopt to do a follow-up visit. Our adoption contract is a legal document and includes no release of adopted cats to a third party. We have a $200 adoption fee, which helps us with some of the medical costs to ready our kittens for adoption (including testing for FIV/FELV, spaying/neutering, shots, deworming, and flea treatment). If 2 cats are being adopted, we will sometimes reduce the fee. Even if we do a home check, that does not constitute an adoption.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, and surrounding areas.
