Samantha's Story...
Hi I'm Samantha I'm really sweet and I'm looking for a new home. Are you looking to add a new member to your family. I would really like a home with another young cat to play with but I would also be happy with an owner who has time to play with me and give me lots of attention. I spent some time in a foster home with two small kids and I was very curious about them. I didn't mind that they weren't alway gentle. As long as they were giving me attention they were okay in my book. I even enjoyed helping my foster mom change diapers but she didn't care for my help. I tolerate dogs fairly well and am used to barking but I don't care to be chased. I use my litter box and have never had an accident. If you think I would make a good addition to your family please fill out an application.

Samantha is currently being fostered in North Oxford, Ma. Her adoption fee is $130. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Samantha, please fill out an application on our website, www.brokentailrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Worcester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
