Stormy's Story...
Stormy just came to us 2 wks. ago. She was found in a torrential rain/sleet storm; soaking wet, cold, hungry, & pregnant. This is how she got her name. The Vet guessed her age to be @ 8mos which would make her BD to be Aug"10. We expect her kittens to arrive in 3-4 wks. After they are weaned, Stormy will be spayed, vaccinated & ready for a furever home. She has been tested for feline leukemia & AIDS & is negative. Stormy loves people & will be an excellent companion to the people lucky enough to get her. I do not know if she is good with dogs or children because she has not been around any here
To learn more about her & her kittens or to meet her, please call: 502-599-9395

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stormy, a Jeffersonville American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Jeffersonville, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Jeffersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jeffersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jeffersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jeffersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
