HI! My name is Taylor, or as my foster Mom calls me Tater Tot, and I am a tinny tiny beagle weighing in at only 18 pounds! I’m putting the finishing touches on my house training, and I’m perfectly fine sleeping through the night in my crate. I also don’t mind being in there during the day for a long snooze while my foster parents are away. I can hold it all day while they’re gone, which makes them very proud! I rarely bark or make too much of a fuss.
I’m very confident on walks and like to move at a brisk pace. Sometimes I get a little confused about what direction we’re going and I have to be reminded. I am very interested in sticks and leaves, and sometimes I like to collect them on our walks.
My foster Mom says I have the perfect energy level. I love to play for awhile but then I am content to snuggle and nap for hours. I love to meet new people, especially kids. I get so happy when I see them I roll right on my belly for a good rub!
My favorite thing is to play with stuffed animals, and I can easily entertain myself with them. Sometimes I confuse a slipper or a shoe for a toy, but I am always willing to trade it for something that is meant for dogs. I am still learning my basic tricks like sit and stay, but I am very willing to learn and I will keep trying hard! I love to play with my foster brother, especially chase and tug, even though he wins every time because he’s so much bigger! I’m a very curios young beagle and am always interested in what my foster parents are doing. If you’re looking for a new best friend to be your shadow that’s me!
