Hello People!
My name is Tommy and I’m a beautiful Bichon boy. My foster Dad says I’m a little guy with a great big heart. (Dad says that’s because good things come in small packages! Silly Dad, I’m not a package – I’m a bichon!)
Dad says I love everybody- big and small I love them all. Why I’m the first one to run to the door to say ‘Hi’ when friends arrive. And when they are people I don’t know yet, I make them friends right away!
My foster Mom says I love to play, cuddle and have fun. She says I do the cutest things – like sitting on the couch in an upright position and waving at you with both of my paws. Or when you pitch a treat and I run to catch it. Oh! and then there’s the way I do the alligator crawl or put my head in your lap and sigh. With my big brown eyes and sweet, sweet ways, Mom says she doesn’t have a chance. (Hey, I think she likes me!)
I also love to go for walks (that’s the way I get to meet more people) and am excellent in the car. I am completely housebroken, of course, and every night I get to sleep on the big people’s bed!
I’m a pretty lucky guy in most ways, except that I recently lost my real Mom. She went to a place called Heaven and she could not take me. Before she went she told me to be a brave boy and to know that there would be a special someone for me once again. Mom told me that she would always watch out for me and that I could find someone to love me like she did and who I could love right back.
Now there is one other thing I want to tell you. I’m a purebred bichon who has been well loved and had a wonderful and loving life for 9 years. Sometimes I itch a bit (but Dad has itch stuff to make it go away), and I also get eye drops every day to help my eyes. And I have a special diet to keep me healthy and strong. But Mom made sure that everything I need is taken care of so that whoever falls in love with me will know that my needs will always be met.
As you can see lots of people think I’m a pretty special guy! I’m healthy, happy, smart, adaptable and have lots of love to give. And there are SO many more things Dad, Mom and I would like to tell you. So if I sound like the guy for you please fill out an application and ask for me.
